Brian Johnson joined American Insurance as an agent in 2003. Over the past fifteen years, he has developed a successful book of business and loyal client base. Brian's clients include machine shop operators, fabricators and equipment dealers, as well as, a large number of petroleum marketers.
A licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent, Brian has also earned his Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) designation. He served as President of the Salt Lake Chapter of Independent Insurance Agents and has participated on the Board from 2009-2011
Known for his hard work and dedication, Brian's focus is finding the best coverage at a competitive price for his clients, while providing outstanding customer service. He loves working with people and excels at establishing professional relationships. He is active in several state and regional associations for petroleum marketers. He has also presented at conferences, focusing on risk management and provides safety training workshops for his clients.
Prior to beginning his career in insurance, Brian earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Utah State University. He has also been recognized by the state of Utah for his entrepreneurial abilities and has been successful in starting and operating several small businesses.
Brian enjoys boating, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
D. David Bradshaw, CPCU, is President of American Insurance, and has grown its Salt Lake City and Las Vegas offices from $7.5 Million in annual premium to $50 Million. He specializes in providing risk management services to Architects and Engineers and has served as a risk management advisor on numberous committees of ACEC and AIA.
Mr. Bradshaw graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a degree in Business/Finance and earned the CPCU designation. In 2013 he was recognized by the Utah Chapter of the American Institute of Architects with an Honorary Membership in AIA Utah.
He is an avid motorsports enthusiast, volunteering as a Driving Instructor for the Intermountain Porsche Club and competes in races all over the country.
Debra Rasmussen joined American Insurance in 2000 but has been in the insurance industry since 1985. Debra began her insurance career as an underwriter for a general agency.
Though she started in Personal Lines insurance, she has since transitioned to the Commercial Insurance division. Her depth of insurance knowledge and customer service are invaluable and highly regarded.
Debra and her husband, Jeff, have two children.
With 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mary Kelsey joined American Insurance in 2017. As Quality Coordinator, Mary works with all departments to ensure that the highest levels of service and accuracy are maintained.
Additionally, Mary works closely with the E&O Plus Quality management Program, an exclusive partnership of teh most prominent independent insurance agents and brokers in the world.

Michelle Swensen joined American Insurance in 2012 where she started as a receptionist. She has since become an Account Manager working with Jeff Rasmussen who specializes in Auto Dealers, Food Manufacturers, and Restaurants.
Michelle enjoys running, hiking, camping, and concerts. She is married with three children and two dogs.
Shauna Barker has been active in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has earned her CISR designation. She has exceptional customer service skills and provides prompt, personal attention to many key clients. Her expert knowledge of Professional Liability insurance for Architects and Engineers assures her cleints that their coverage is placed accurately. Shauna has worked at American Insurance since 1994.
Shauna enjoys gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
