Amy is a licensed Personal Lines agent at American Insurance and has been with the company since 2015. Her responsibilities include assisting with our existing clients' questions and concerns and making sure their coverage and limits on their policies is what they need. She has experience with condo-owners, renters, auto, RV, ATV, boat, landlord, earthquake, landslide and flood policies, just to name a few. She can make changes to your existing policy or quote and issue a brand new line of insurance, when needed.
Ann is a licensed agent and has been with American Insurance for 26 years.
What she enjoys about her job is the risk management aspect and how insurance, "the necessary evil" can and does help people.
Her summers are spent hiking, canoeing and camping. Winters are spent skiing and quilting. Playing with her family is what she enjoys most.
Brenda Hollingsworth started her insurance career in the health benefits department of American Insurance on July of 2013. Moving from health benefits into commercial lines in 2015, she obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance license in November of 2016 and should have her CISR designation by the end of 2019.
Today, she works with a myriad of business types and insureds in conjunction with Jeff Hope. She is detail oriented and prides herself in her organization skills and ability to multi-task. Jeff and Brenda are currently generalists who want to specialize in manufacturing and food services, but especially architects and engineers.
As a season tick holder, it is safe to say Brenda enjoys Real Salt Lake soccer games. In her free-time she records a podcast with her husband, travelers on adventures with friends and boasts about her two daughters who are currently attending college.
Brian Johnson joined American Insurance as an agent in 2003. Over the past fifteen years, he has developed a successful book of business and loyal client base. Brian's clients include machine shop operators, fabricators and equipment dealers, as well as, a large number of petroleum marketers.
A licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent, Brian has also earned his Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) designation. He served as President of the Salt Lake Chapter of Independent Insurance Agents and has participated on the Board from 2009-2011

Cathy Wilcock has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years, with experience in both Personal and Commercial Insurance. For the last 15+ years her primary focus has been on Commercial Insurance
She is a long time employee with American Insurance and she is the assistant to Jeff Hirst.
Cathy is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent and has her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
She enjoys the outdoors, especially with family, loves to garden and likes to make time to read.
Clenneth has been a part of American Insurance since 1991, starting as an accounting clerk and becoming the General Manager in 2000. He graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Although he has a lot of responsibilities, improving workflows, statistical benchmarking, mergers and system integrations are some of things that give him the most enjoyment. He also feels fortunate to work with a lot of people he calls friends.
He has been married for 25 years and has raised 4 children in Davis County.
D. David Bradshaw, CPCU, is President of American Insurance, and has grown its Salt Lake City and Las Vegas offices from $7.5 Million in annual premium to $50 Million. He specializes in providing risk management services to Architects and Engineers and has served as a risk management advisor on numerous committees of ACEC and AIA.
Mr. Bradshaw graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a degree in Business/Finance and earned the CPCU designation. In 2013 he was recognized by the Utah Chapter of the American Institute of Architects with an Honorary Membership in AIA Utah.
He is an avid motorsports enthusiast, volunteering as a Driving Instructor for the Intermountain Porsche Club and competes in races all over the country.
Debra Rasmussen joined American Insurance in 2000 but has been in the insurance industry since 1985. Debra began her insurance career as an underwriter for a general agency.
Though she started in Personal Lines insurance, she has since transitioned to the Commercial Insurance division. Debra is dedicated to providing the best customer service and insurance insight to the clients that she assists.
Debra and her husband, Jeff, have two children.
Jeff advises and assists professional organizations in mitigating and managing professional and business risk. His goal is to help clients reduce their overall cost of risk and improve company performance. He accomplishes this by providing tools and resources needed to reduce, transfer and prevent loss. The same process concurrently helps performance and profitability.
Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN), a North American network of insurance professionals who specialize in serving the design community. The network has representative in every US state and Canadian province. Jeff services as a President of PLAN from 2012-2013.
Jeff is often called upon to speak for professional associations and societies on topics related to professional liability and risk management. The associations and societies include: the American Institute of Architects Utah, the American Council of Engineering Companies Utah, Utah Chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Utah Council of Land Surveyors and the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools.
Jeff also supports his clients in legislative efforts affecting their industry. He provides guidance in legislative matters having liability and insurance implications.
Jeff has been with American Insurance & Investments since 1999 and services Utah businesses with an emphasis on Architects & Engineers and Charter Schools. Jeff lives in Kaysville with his wife and six children. They enjoy doing things together as a family and being in the outdoors.
Jeff Rasmussen Entered the Insurance Business in 1985. Prior to joining American Insurance Jeff was employed by Bonneville Brokers as a Commercial Lines Producer from 1985-2000. Bonneville Brokers merged with American Insurance in October 2000 and Jeff has been an agent with American since that time.
After pursuing studies in Business and Communications at the University of Utah, Jeff obtained his insurance license. He has since completed various education and training courses in the insurance industry. Jeff specializes in developing customized insurance policies and risk control programs for a variety of clients, including national restaurant franchises and large commercial property investment companies. In addition, he has extensive experience with Professional Liability insurance for lawyers and accountants.
Jeff is very active in state and local associations. As a member of the Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents, he has served on the Board of Directors and on various committees. He is a past president of the Salt Lake City Association of Independent Insurance Agents and the Independent insurance Agents of Utah. He was named "Young Agent of the Year" in 1995and 2001 by the Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents.
Jeff resides in Salt Lake City with his wife, Debra, and their son and Daughter. He enjoys bicycling, skiing and Motorcycle riding with his family and friends.
Jeremy Connell joined American Insurance in 2016 and has over two years of experience working as the Document Manager. He was likely the one who typed up the proposal that showed your renewal year's coverage. Along with letters and other documents involving the policy renewal or new business process, he works in the background to smoothen out the efficiency by programming how all those documents are generated from American's insurance application database.
On his own time, he has fun reading, going to the gym, and trying new things with friends and family.
Kendall Nelson is the Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer of American Insurance & Investment Corporation and the President of its Nevada based subsidiary, American Insurance & Investment Corp of Nevada. Kendall joined American Insurance shortly before completing his university education. In 1987 he graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Business Finance from the University of Utah.
Kendall managed all of the day to day operations of the agency until 2000 when he shifted into a production role. Taking his knowledge and experience in human resource management and employment law, he assumed the responsibility of the Employee Benefits department. He brings a unique perspective to his clients' Employee Benefits needs, having been responsible for both the development of benefit plans designed to attract and retain quality employees while at the same time managing expenses to meet profitability goals.

Working closely with Brian Johnson, Lori handles the agency's petroleum book of business, which demands a quick response and attention to detail. With 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mary Kelsey joined American Insurance in 2017. As Quality Coordinator, Mary works with all departments to ensure that the highest levels of service and accuracy are maintained.
Additionally, Mary works closely with the E&O Plus Quality management Program, an exclusive partnership of the most prominent independent insurance agents and brokers in the world.
Having previously worked for Associated Food Stores, Mason feels particularly attuned to the insurance needs of grocery and convenience stores, as well as other retail operations. He also has previous experience with Accident & Health and Personal Life insurance.

Steven Boyer joined American Insurance in 2002, and he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 2005.
Sydney Leman started in the insurance industry in 2015 when she achieved her Life & Health license. In 2016 she joined American Insurance & Investment Corp.
She works closely with Kendall Nelson in the company's Benefits Department as a Health Benefits Specialist. She handles client's health enrollments and is involved in streamlining processes for their clients. She's always available to help members with their health insurance claim concerns or questions on their health plans.
Sydney enjoys traveling or being at theme parks with her young growing family. If she isn't traveling you may see her and her husband at a concert or a local eatery.

She joined us with over 19 years of experience in the insurance industry that included niches such as Contractors, HOA's and Transportation in Colorado, California and Arizona.
