American Insurance & Investment is a family-based, independent agency serving clients with a wide range of business, personal and specialty insurance needs in Utah and Nevada.
Don Bradshaw, founder of the company, began his career by initiating an insurance department within American Savings and Loan in the 1950s. Within three years, American Insurance left its parent organization to become a thriving, independent agency in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1995, a second office was opened in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Today, American Insurance employs over 35 highly qualified insurance professionals.
American Insurance is actively involved in numerous insurance and financial industry organizations, at both the state and national levels. We also participate in many organizations that relate specifically to the industries of our clients, including associate memberships in the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Utah Council of Land Surveyors (UCLS), the Western Petroleum Marketers Association, and the Utah Mechanical Contractors Association.
In addition, American Insurance participates in insurance industry organizations such as the Independent Insurance Agents of America and the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA).
